Abstract

The implementation of thematic learning that can enhance students' creativity directly, it takes learning resources as a means of supporting learning success. 1) implementation of thematic learning by utilizing the school environment, 2) inhibiting factors for the implementation of thematic learning by utilizing the school environment. Research conducted using qualitative with the type of research consisting of words and images. Sources of data using 2 sources, namely primary data sources in the form of interviews with classroom teachers and students and observation of learning activities. Secondary data sources are documentation. The research was conducted at SDIT Ibnu Hajar. The results of this study indicate that learning that utilizes the environment can increase student activity. the results of the implementation of learning that applies the environment, namely: 1) learning 1, 4 and 5 apply the use of the environment as a learning resource, 2) learning 2, 3 and 6 lack implementation due to incompatibility of material and learning resources in the form of a school environment. Inhibiting factors that become obstacles for teachers in implementing learning by utilizing the school environment as a learning resource for thematic learning namely; 1) finding ideas in determining learning resources when implementing learning; 2) understanding the concept of learning being taught.
