Abstract

The red spinach plant is a vegetables that have many nutrition complete as vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, carbohydrates, protein, iron, manganese, potassium, and calcium, magnesium. Red spinach containing anthocyanin and compound flavonoid high which is used as a source of antiosidan which could deny free radicals and prevent DNA cell mutate a malignant. The problem in red spinach is from the pest attacks and disease down production. The problem in red spinach can be done using hydroponic system to reduce the presence of insects and diseases, this system can be used for people who don't have the wide garden, like people in the coast. People who living along the beach is around 60 % while the rest 40 % lives on land according to Fitriah's said ( 2015 ). The people on the coast lack of consuming vegetables so they got an unbalanced nutritional requirements. A way that can be used by the innovative coastal is to tap growing as a medium. The way this is done to meet the needs of vegetables. For that reason, vegetables cultivated must be tolerant to high salt levels, such as red spinach for example. The purpose of this study that know the growth and crop yield red spinach to media and composition of seawater and fresh water as a hydroponic raft buoyancy an tolerance's test of spinach plants on the red sea salinitas certain. The study is done at the december 30 in 2018 until Mei 20 in 2019 and carried out in jetis villages. This study using a random group ( shelf ), the simple treatment composition of the sea consists of P0 ( 100 % freshwater ), P1 ( 10 percent sea water: 90 % freshwater ), P2 ( 20 percent sea water: 80 % freshwater), P3 ( 30 percent sea water: 70 % freshwater ), P4 ( 40 percent sea water: 60 % freshwater ), P5 ( 50 percent sea water: 50 % freshwater. Treatment was repeated 4 times, so there were 24 units of experimental. Analysis stastistik shelf is a simple analysis variant ( anova ) by test on different real honest ( BNJ ) 5 % to know the treatment of variables measured includes number of leaves (cm ),trunk diameter cm tall stalks (cm), variable harvest consisting long, roots the number of, roots heavy fresh (grams) the chlorophyll, broad leaves (cm) and variable supporting covering, Ph,TDS, EC and temperature. The composition of sea water and fresh water in use cultivation red spinach that is on the composition of sea water 10 % : 90 %.
