Abstract

Cengkrong Beach is a southern coastal beach located in Karanggandu Village, Watulimo Sub-district, Trenggalek district which is famous for it’s mangrove ecotourism. Mangrove Forest is a habitat for living creatures with diversity of characteristic. The Existence of Decapoda has an important role in the series of metabolism and control of energy flow in coastal ecosystems. The presence of Decapoda is strongly influenced by factors such as water temperature, salinity, pH and content of organic material. Study of decapoda diversity on Mangrove ecotourism of Cengkrong Beach on Trenggalek Regency as a source of learning biology is performed to add an insight on the mangrove ecosystem and support the availability of information on mangrove ecotourism of Cengkrong Beach. Purposive Sampling used as a Sampling technique and applied at 3 stations, . Station 1: Sandy substrate condition, Station 2: Muddy substrate condition, Station 3: Clay substrate condition. Sampling results were then analyzed to determine the species, diversity, and abiotic parameters (temperature, salinity and pH) that influenced them. The results showed that the type of decapoda has found are in 4 family, 5 genera and 13 species in 3 stations. Family of Ocypodidae found consist of one genus of 9 species, namely Uca lactea, Uca perplexa, Uca annulipes, Uca triangularis, Uca vocans, Uca dussumieri, Uca Demani, Uca arcuata, Uca coarctata. Family of Sesarmidae are found to consist of 2 genera for 2 species, namely Sesarma pictum and Perisesarma eumolpe. Found Ilyoplax pacifica for family of Dotillidae. Found Scylla serrata for family of Portunidae. The value of diversity index on station 1 . H ' = 1,532 that shows medium diversity, station 2 with H ' =1.476 which shows medium diversity and 3 stations with H ' = 2,335 that shows moderate diversity. Analysis of environmental conditions on the mangrove ecotourism Cengkrong Beach acquired that soil pH results of a range of between 7-7.2; ground temperature range between 28-300C; salinity range between 30-34 ppm indicating normal value for life Dekapoda. The results of this research can be used as a learning media in poster form.
