Abstract

This study aims to 1) find out the application of the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model in mathematics learning in class VII-C Muhammadiyah 2 Malang Middle School, 2) To find out student learning outcomes in the application of the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model in class VII-C Muhammadiyah 2 Malang Middle School, To find out the response of students to the application of the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model in class VII-C Muhammadiyah 2 Middle School Malang. The method used in this study is observation, tests and questionnaire. The teacher and student observation sheet is used to find out the activities of the teacher and students based on the results of the observation during the learning process. The test is used to determine the increase in student learning outcomes as long as the Jigsaw cooperative learning model is applied. While the questionnaire was used to determine student responses to the application of the Jigsaw type learning model. The results showed that the application of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model ran very well. So that the aspects studied have met all of them. For student learning outcomes, the overall average value is 82.21 with a good sanat category. While the student response to the application of jigsaw type cooperative learning is high with an overall score of 878.
