Abstract

Main road of jalan Gunung Sari in Mayong district of Buleleng regency is an alternative to overcome the traffic volume that increases every year. The traffic is dominated by vehicles and since it functions as an alternative road, it uses the flexible pavement. The pavement thickness uses the Bina Marga method. The budget proposal (RAB) used the basic unit rate (HSPK) 2018 for Bali region. The analysis result on the thickness planning of the jalan Gunungsari showed that the surface thickness was 10 cm and the upper foundation was 18 cm, while the bottom foundation was 34 cm. The surface layer used Laston as its material, the upper layer used broken stone type C as its foundation, and the bottom layer used gravel and sand type B as its foundation. The budget proposal for pavement thickness on the jalan Gunungsari was Rp. 12,438,000,000. Based on the analysis result, flexible pavement is very suitable for the environment in Mayong district of Buleleng regency in Bali.
