Abstract

This study analyzes the difference in turnover in the Sukun market in Malang. This research is quantitative descriptive. The variables used in this study are modern markets, tradisonal market traders and small shop traders. Examples of traders who sell are tradisional market traders in Sukun Subdistrict who sell goods that sell modern offering 40 traders consisting of 20 retail business trades and 20 traadisional market traders who travel 0 – 3km from the modern market. Data analysis technique used paramat statistical methods, namely by using paired T-test. Paired t-test (paired t-test). Quantitative analysis is done through 3 components, namely Turnover, Earnings, Number of Customers per day, tradisional markets and small shop. The results of this study indicate that the modern market make a difference businesses in the District of Sukun, Malang.
