Abstract

Seagrass beds are one of the most important marine resources for the sea, because they are a habitat for marine biota. Geliting Village is one of the villages in the coastal area where the household waste is disposed of into the sea. With the waste being dumped into the sea every day it is possible to doubt the growth and diversity of seagrasses in the Geliting village are. The purpose of this study was to determine seagrass diversity in shallow seas due to household waste disposal, knowing the density of seagrasses in the shallow sea area of Geliting village Sikka Regency, knowing the diversity of marine biota found in the shallow marine area of Geliting village, Sikka Regency. stairs to the sea to the diversity of seagrass beds in Geliting Village, Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara as a biology learning source in the form of booklets on material for environmental change and recycling of class X SMA waste in the 2013 KD curriculum 3.10. using the sample plot method that samples the population of a community using a sample plot approach. The results of the study show that the diversity of seagrass species found is that there are 3 species of this can occur because the majority of household waste produced by plastic can affect the abiotic component such as temperature pH salinity and TDS so that it can affect the ecology of seagrass. Research analysis of household waste disposal into the sea on the diversity of seagrass beds in Geliting Village, Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara as a biology learning source in the form of booklets in accordance with the biology class X material of biodiversity level based on the 2013 Curriculum in KD 3.10 and K.1 3.10
