Abstract

Student learning outcomes are influenced by several factors, including interest in learning and student motivation. This study discusses the influence of interest in learning and student motivation on learning outcomes in mathematics in one of Muhammadiyah Middle School in Malang Regency. The data collection techniques that the researcher used was questionnaire totalling 47 statements of independent variables given to all VII grade students. This research used a survey method which used multiple linier regression and correlation test as an analysis technique, which looked for the influence between the independent variable and the dependent variable. The method will give an overview of the variables that have been found, as well as will know the influence between variables because this method shows the factual data based on the information that has been collected. In this research, the number of samples totalling 57 students. The conclusion of this research shows that there is an influence of interest in learning and learning motivation on student learning outcomes.
