Abstract

This study uses a descriptive survey, the population Housing Landungsari Asri village Dau Malang District Landungsari titled Ad Effectiveness Analysis Mie Sedaap version of "New shoes School Children." The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the ads Mie Sedaap version of "New shoes School Children" in the review of the Dimensions of Empathy, Persuasion, Impact, and Communication. In EPIC-dimensional model, Empathy explain about whether consumers prefer an ad and illustrate how a relationship with their personal ads. Persuasion explained about the attractiveness of the ads that lead to changes in beliefs, attitudes and desires behave. To measure knowledge in reaching consumers in the use Impact dimension. Communication own while providing information on consumers' ability in remembering that the main message and convey the impression forces leave a message in the ad. Analytical tools used in this study is to use a simple tabulation analysis, the average score and range of the scale. Each dimension of EPIC model in a separate analysis using the average score, which was then the average value would be in put in a position of decision-scale range, from the Very Not Effective to Very Effective. In this research, get some results that advertising Mie Sedaap version of "New shoes School Children" Empathy dimension say quite effective in getting the value of 2.74, Persuasion in saying no effective with an average score of 2.58, the dimension impact on say no effective with an average score of 2.52, and for the values of the dimensions of effective communication in saying not to get an average score of 2.53. Overall dimensions of the total value of EPIC model to get a score value of 2.59. Based on these results, it can be said Advertise Mie Sedaap version of "New shoes School Children" in the review of the EPIC-dimensional models in said Ineffective.
