Abstract

Physical education is a learning that prioritizes physical activity as supporting individual development. Motion learning is not only through physical education but can go through the game. Based on the needs analysis conducted at SDN Dadaprejo 02 Kota Batu. It was found that in study of physical education material combination pattern of walking, running and jumping movements, students were directed to play alone. It makes student less understand about material. Therefore, the solution is learning with the model game that related the material. This research described the development of traditional game gugur gunung, and effectiveness for physical education in elementary school. The development model used is the ADDIE model. In the ADDIE Model has 5 stages among them; analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The research subject is 18 students of grade V SDN Dadaprejo 02 Kota Batu. Data collection methods used were interview, observation, test, and questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used are qualitative descriptive analysis techniques and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study explained that the development of game gugur gunung is feasible and effective to use in learning material combination pattern of walking, running, and jumping movements. Evidenced by the validation results of material experts obtained value of 88.3% (very good) and learning model experts gained a value of 86.6% (very good). The development of game gugur gunung effectiveness is 86.29% after testing in grade V students with an average value of 86.5 (complete) of the minimum criteria of 75. In addition, the result of the student response questionnaire gained value of 98.3% and the teacher response questionnaire gained value of 100%. So, it was concluded that the development of traditional game gugur gunung is feasible and effective to be used in learning elementary school.
