Abstract

Horticulture sector in agriculture has an important role in the supply of foodstuffs. One of the most horticultural crops cultivated are much in demand and cabbage. In conducting marketing activities necessary marketing channel consists of producers, marketing agencies, and consumers, In marketing usually requires a cost that is often called the marketing costs such as the cost of harvesting, transport costs, sorting, packaging and transportation costs. With the cost of making the marketers to sell products to consumers with higher selling prices to obtain higher profits. The result is a high enough price gap between producers and consumers. Determination of research area is done deliberately (purposive). Sampling using probability sampling, by using simple random simple (Simple Random Sampling). Methods of data analysis by descriptive and quantitative. Descriptive to analyze the existing marketing channels, marketing functions (harvesting, packing, sorting, transport) carried out by marketing agencies. While the quantitative analyze marketing margins, the farmer's share, market share and marketing efficiency. The results of this study indicate if there are two patterns sprouts marketing channels, namely, marketing channels I: Farmers - Reseller - wholesalers - retailers - consumers. Marketing channel II: Farmer - Reseller - Retailer - Consumer. Analysis of marketing margin on the marketing channel I amounting to Rp 3,756 and on the marketing channel II Rp 3,295. Farmer's share value on the marketing channel I amounted to 22.95%, while on the marketing channel II by 23.96%. From the calculation of the index on the marketing efficiency of marketing channels I is 2:35 and the second at 2:51 marketing channels.
