Abstract

In human being lives, men and women are scientifically appealing to, or logically compose physical and spiritual relation for matrimony purpose. To be living in harmonious, happily, prosperous along with kids (prohibited to adultery). Now days, we heard people talks more to marriage perceptions. Marriage is not simple as sexual affair only, even it's to be critical for such reason e.g. living together and having baby, passion fulfillment etc. Get Married is movie with abound of messages. This movie was telling us how people view to marriage currently in this modern live. Based on above description, researcher then formulated the point of discussion into “what is the meaning of marriage behind visualization and dialogue in Get Married”? Real step to finds out the answer is by finalized the meaning of marriage in Get Married. Interpreting to movie required congruent editing methodology to be able to cast the hiding message on it. Therefore, researcher using qualitative method in which interpretative is applied by semiotic analyzes. It was also using Roland Barthes semiotic that turn into denotative and connotative method in raise up message caption precisely. It was three (3) scenes that being observed, scene with marriage artificial along with visualization and dialogue has been nominated for further digging up. As a result, marriage was establishment of ethic and individual morale in family living, nation and religion, primly a wish that the child will raise up the quality of life in education, society and religiousness. Marriage was also interpreted as mortification cover in family living, to those who being in belated marry especially to women (Indonesian culture), are not well accepted by their surrounds compare to those who have married. Married people mostly respectively more by others, as they believed having better morale and individual responsibility to whom they're married to compare to un­married people. Marriage was being assumed also as parent legitimatization to their kids as presented by Mae when she is forced to marry through lottery.
