Abstract

ABSTRACT Sa'adah, Alfiatus. 2019. Development of 3-Language Pendet Variety of Motion Cards as Kinesthetic Stimulation in Young Children in Pandanwangi 3 Elementary School Malang. Thesis, Elementary School Teacher Education Department, FKIP, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Advisors: (1) Arina Restian, M.Pd, (2) Eni Rachmawati, M.Pd. Based on the results of the needs analysis at Pandanwangi 3 Malang Elementary School on February 13 with GPK (special counselor) and Mentally Disabled Students, it can be seen to train the kinesthetic intelligence of mentally disabled students in school by dancing, pendet dance is one of the kinesthetic stimulations for mentally disabled children . pendet dance movements developed into a learning media, good learning media are usually packaged in accordance with the conditions and needs of students, this study was conducted to train kinesthetic intelligence of mentally disabled students in Malang's Pandanwangi 3 Elementary School by providing kinesthetic stimulation in the basic movements of pendet dance described in a variety of pendet dance motion media cards. in this media there are 3 languages as the language of instruction including: Indonesian, English and Thai. This research uses the ADDIE model of research, the source of data from this study are mentally disabled students in Pandanwangi 3 Elementary School Malang, GPK, material expert Validator, media expert validator, this research was conducted twice in the even semester 2018/2019. This research is adjusted with the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages including, (1) the analysis phase, (2) the design stage, (3) the development stage, (4) the implementation stage, and (5) the evaluation stage. The results of this study show (1) How the development of 3-language pendet dance motion cards as kinesthetic stimulation in mentally disabled children in Pandanwangi 3 Elementary School Malang, this is indicated by the teaching and learning process and the application of 10 basic movements of pendet dance found in a variety of pendet dance cards. (2) The effectiveness of the development of 3 language pendet-based dance motion cards as kinesthetic stimulation in mentally disabled children in Pandanwangi 3 Malang Elementary School must be applied. This was shown by the response of students who were very happy when they performed the application of the various pendet dance card media and also through the assessment table, as well as the feasibility test of the media expert validator and material expert validator. The results of this study, the learning media of pendet dance motion cards are suggested to be used to train kinesthetic students with intellectual impairments so that the function of kinesthetic intelligence develops because the media of the Pendet dance variety is easy to implement and creates a pleasant learning process.
