Research approach is the researchers used a qualitative approach which aims at interpretive understanding of social phenomena through a holistic picture and reproduce a deep understanding by using interpretations and explanations, and adds a strong reason in accordance with existing data. The scope of research is JAWA POS news and details KOMPAS with 14 news. The results presented in descriptive research, where the function of the framing device is expected to explain the strategy of journalists in developing, writing, and outlining the facts based on reality construction interpreted into a form that is presented in the news daily, where they worked.
