Abstract

Stock Exchange titled “Analysis of Bank health level to predict Financial Distress at Bank which listed at Indonesian Stock Exchange” The research aimed to find out the bank’s health level for five years analysis period and to find out if there any Indonesian banking company which got financial distress. Analytical tools used to find out how much the health level for five years of analysis period and to find out whether there any Indonesian banking industries which has financial distress was CAMEL analysis (Capital, Asset Quality, Management, Earning and Liquidity) which was ruled on Indonesian Bank’s SE No.30/2/UPPB/30/4/1997 jo SE No.30/UPPB/19/03/1998. at quality assets aspect which measured by productive active balance changed by Return on Risked Assets. The result showed that predicted assets would get financial distress is earning and liquidity at Danamon Bank, earning aspect at BNI, earning aspect at NISP Bank at 2007 and liquidity at 2007, at Mega Bank capital aspect in 2005 and earning aspect at 2005-2006, at BCA liquidity aspect 2003-2006, at Lippo Bank asset aspect 2003 and International Indonesia Bank earning aspect at 2004 From the research could be found that earning aspect has financial distress at every analyzed bank. Health level for five years analysis period was on not healthy level except Mega Bank in 2007 has healthy level.
