Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Telkom Malang with the title "Analysis of Effect of Competence on Employee Performance PT. Telkom Malang ". Competence in PT. Telkom Malang consists of Core Competencies and the Specific Competensies. The purpose of this research to determine (1) employee competence, (2) know the performance of employees (3) the effect of competence on the performance of employees (4) Where the competence to know the variables that have a strong influence on the performance of employees of PT. Telkom Malang. In this research, the authors define the two hypotheses. The hypothesis that the first variable of core competencies and Specific Competensies allegedly had a significant influence on employee performance improvement. The second hypothesis is partially allegedly the most powerful variables had an influence on employee performance improvement is variable Specific Competensies. The analytical tool used in this study is the range of scale and multiple linear regression. The study population was all permanent employees which totaled 50 people. Based on the analysis of scale range can be identified Core Competencies and the Specific Competensies at. Telkom Malang into the category of excellent. Performance variables obtained an average score of 217.67, included in the category of very high. In a simultaneous test with F test to conclude that (Fcount> Ftable) amounted to 67.002 and Ftable Fcount of 3.195, meaning that the variable Core Competencies and the Specific Competensies simultaneously significant effect on the performance of permanent employees of PT. Telkom Malang. From the partial test results indicate that the Variable Specific Competensies that most influence on performance. From this conclusion researcher can give that tips is advisable corporate continually do effort utilisedding to increase employee interests.
