Abstract

This research is motivated by a lack of student’s understanding of the material Theme 3 Healthy Food Sub Theme 1 How Does the Body Process Food? Learning 2, which contains 3 subjects of Science, Indonesia, and SBdP, where the availability and use of learning media are still limited.This research and development aims to find out the feasibility and practically of the KoKaKu (Keyword Box) in Theme 3 Healthy Food Sub Theme 1 How Does the Body Process Food? Second learning 5th Grade Elementary School. This research uses an ADDIE model of development research. The data sources from this study are Primary School Students in grade 5, teachers, material expert validators, linguist validators, and design expert validators. This research was conduct in the even semester 2018/2019. This research was conduct through five stages, the analysis phase, the design phase, the development stage, the implementation phase, and the evaluation phase. The results of this study indicate that (1) The Feasibility of KoKaKu Media (Box of Keywords) obtained from the validation of material experts with a percentage score of 88% the criteria was very feasible. Validation of media experts with a percentage score of 95% was very feasible. (2) The practically of KoKaKu Media (Box of Keywords) using student response questionnaires and teacher responses. Questionnaire for student responses was given to 23 students in grade 5 of SDN Kwaron 2 DiwekJombang by obtaining assessment results which showed a percentage of 83% with very practical information. Questionnaire responses of the teacher obtained the results of the assessment which showed a percentage of 90% with very practical information. The results of feasibility and practicality can be concluded that the KoKaKu (Keyword Box) media is suitable for use in the learning process.
