Abstract

Criminal is the behavior of someone who violates the law, in Malang city the number of crime is quite high and always increases every year. The victim from the criminal often have difficulty in asking for help, one of them because the victim feels depressed from the situation, to overcome this the local government made an innovation in the form of an android based mobile application user named Panic Button. But with the development of time the application user has declined due to the old concept that is still implemented, the application development is needed, so it can improve the quality of the application and attract more users. The panic button application development will use Rational Unified Process (RUP) as the application development. From the problem, the topic is entitled “Development of an Android based panic button application using the SLDC Rational Unified Process (RUP) method”. Panic button application has been successfully developed using RUP method with single developer mode, the application has been tested and runs as desired.
