Abstract

Abstract The background of this research is the development of the banking world from year to year, caused many new banks thus becoming a new competitor for existing banks. Encourage existing banks to carry out promotional activities so that customers don’t move to another bank and improve bank quality to the fullest. The purpose of this study is The find out the promotional role in increasing the number of credit customers and To find out the procedure for applying for credit until the money process is received at PT.BPR Kridhadana Citra Nusa Kecamatan Dampit Kabupaten Malang. This research was collected by conducting interviews and documentation with the stages of collecting data, analyzing and giving conclusions and suggestions to PT. BPR Kridhadana Citra Nusa, Dampit District, Malang Regency. The results of this study indicate that the promotion carried out by PT. BPR Kridhadana Citra Nusa, Dampit District, Malang Regency, has a significant role in increasing the number of credit customers. By doing promotions in 2019 this is an increase in the number of loans averaging 11,12% every month.in addition, by providing a direct explanation of the procedure for applying for credit at PT.BPR Kridhadana Citra Nusa at the time of promotion was also very effective in increasing the number of credit customers, because the people who initially did not understand and were afraid to apply for credit after knowing the procedure could understand and not be afraid as before.
