Abstract

Poverty is one of the problems in a complex and fundamental Indonesian economy. The solution is to find a solution to reduce poverty. This study aims to determine the effect of expenditure, the government of the economic growth sector, education, and unemployment on poverty in Madura Island District. The analysis used is quantitative with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) method in the panel data with the ata time series in 2010 until 2018 and the cross section data in the kabpuaten of Madura Island. The tool used in this study is panel data regression by testing hypotheses, namely F Test, t Test, and Determination Coefficient R ^ 2. The results of this study show that together Economic Growth, Education, and Unemployment Against Poverty in Madura Island District, with a probability value of 0.0000. Individually Economic growth has a negative and significant effect on poverty with a coefficient of -0.277980 and a probability value of 0.0371. Education has a negative and significant influence on Kemskinan with a coefficient of -1.209128 with a probability value of 0.0159. Unemployment variables have a positive and significant effect on poverty with a coefficient of 0.022864 and a probability value of 0.0469.
