Abstract
This study aims to asses the effect of inflation and the unemployment rate of poverty in Indonesian in the short and long term. The type of this study is quantitative and data gathering technique was conducted by literature. Partial Adjusment Model (PAM) is used as analytical metode that processed by Eviews 9.0. The result showed that the effect of inflation on poverty in short term has possitive effect since the coefficient of determination 0,113842% was significant, and in the long term inflation has possitive and significant effect in coefficient of determination was 0,327812%. The other side, the effect of unemployment on the level of poverty in short term was possitively and insignificant effect in coefficient of efficiency 0,886325%. Inflation has significant effect but unemployment has insignificant effect on poverty, both of them has possitive effect in short and long term.
