Abstract
Turnover intention is a problem in any organization that causes a lot of losses. Job performance is thought to be able to reduce turnover intention on employees. The existence of threat appraisal is suspected to be the variable that can determine the relation between job performance and turnover intention. This study aims to test threat appraisal as a moderator relation between job performance and turnover intention and use a quantitative research with ex-post facto research design. The subject used was an employee with a total of 253 subjects and using accidental sampling technique to choose the subjecs. Measurements were made using Turnover Intention Scale 14 (TIS 14), job performance scale (JPC), and threat appraisal scale (TAS). Data analysis uses the moderated regression analysis (MRA) method. The results obtained showed that threat appraisal can moderate the relation between job performance and turnover intention.
