Abstract

The negative impact of Sectio Caesarea operation can cause the risk of infection is 3.5% resulting from nosocomial infections and the remainder is due for surgical wound treatment method is wrong. With proper wound care such as wound care methods principled Moist Wound Care is able to support the success of the wound healing process and provide positive effects for its users. The purpose of this study to identify with the principles of wound care experience Moist Wound Care in the mother postoperative Sectio Caesarea. The study design using qualitative descriptive research strategy in the form of single case design. The sampling method using purposive sampling method. With three participants are patient, husband and midwife. Retrieving data using interviews and observation. Data analysis using analytical domain. The results showed five themes, reason of mother to election Moist Wound Care, procedure Moist Wound Care, Moist Wound Care benefits, wound healing time Sectio Caesarea, and wrapping techniques that can not be separated shower. From the results of this study concluded that the wound treatment Moist Wound Care is able to accelerate the wound healing process, do not feel pain during activity and is able to provide comfort for its users.
