Abstract

UD. Surabaya Rattan Industry is, a traing business wich movables in sector of Furniture production that source from nature materials rattan wood. In process of production the factory often had problems in a base raw material stock, and there is no a good assembling method yet to solve this problems. The purpose of this analysis are to give information about chossing plan control method with compare Just In Time (JIT) method and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) so that able to got Total Inventory Cost (TIC) with more minimum and jnow the result of assembling method that chossed for base raw material control. From the result of the analysis can be got that assembling Just In Time (JIT) Method and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) fir planning 1 year period toward produced Total Inventory Cost (TIC) for Just In Time (JIT) method around Rp 5. 012. 484. 000, 00 and Total Inventory Cost (TIC) for Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) around Rp. 5. 018. 088. 400, 00. So that if assemble Just In Time (JIT) method able to got retrenament of Total Inventory Cost (TIC) around Rp. 5. 604. 400, 00 wich retrenchament happen on holding cost with the stock average Quantity (I) method is able be got plan order of the base raw materials more often conduct as much as 22 time every month, where as for Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method plan order the raw materials 4 times each month. With doing order activity more often and match with the requesters to the process of production the base raw materials stock can be minimize, so is not necessary for the base raw material to wait long time to be processing.
