Abstract
This study aims to analyze and compare the profitability of Islamic banks in Indonesia and Malaysia. This type of research is quantitative inferential. The required data is secondary data from the financial statements of each Islamic bank in Indonesia and Malaysia in 2010-2017. Data analysis techniques are panel data regression analysis techniques. The results of the study show that on average the ROA percentage of Islamic banks in Indonesia reaches 0.81%, while for Islamic banks in Malaysia alone reaches 1.01%. For simultaneous testing also because the value of F-count is 24.48286 ≥ F-table 2.34, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that the independent variable namely CAR, FDR, NPF, BOPO and Inflation have an effect simultaneously and together -sama against the dependent variable, namely ROA of Sharia Banks in Indonesia in 2010-2017. Then it is the same with Indonesia, for Malaysia the value of F-count is 3.687795 ≥ F-table 2.34, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that the independent variable, CAR, FDR, NPF, BOPO and Inflation simultaneously influence and together on the dependent variable, namely ROA of Sharia Banks in Malaysia in 2010-2017.
