Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the abilities, leadership and performance of employees, analyze the influence of partial abilities and leadership on employee performance and analyze the effect of simultaneous ability and leadership on employee performance. The population in this study is the employees of Batu City Hall, Kesbangpol, which are as many as 30 respondents, where the entire population is used as research samples by analyzing the data using a range of scales and multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the ability of employees to be included in the category is quite good, leadership is included in the sufficient category and the employee's performance falls into the high category. The results of the t test can be seen that the ability and leadership partially influence employee performance and the ability and leadership simultaneously influence employee performance. Suggestions that can be put forward in the research are leaders giving personal attention to employees so that all forms of problems can be resolved properly, increasing skills in work, namely by increasing expertise in preparing work programs and maintaining good relations with employees.
