Abstract

Information systems are designed to assist management in the functions of supervision and management support in daily operations and many managers now realize that they need information that is more relevant and accurate for decision making. Sales are the spearhead of the company to get profits from the sale so that the company can increase its capital and invest in other business activities. By conducting sales activities from sales orders to cash receipts that can run well, the company requires internal control that aims to control all activities of the entity so that assets can be protected. This internal control is needed to ensure that data is available when needed, accurate and reliable. This study uses a type of descriptive research. The data collection technique used in this study was interview. The stages of data analysis in this study use analysis of input, process, and output. The functions performed on the company are the sales function, the shipping function, and the accounting function. The documents used by the company are payment receipts, sales invoices or invoices, and receipts of goods. Accounting records related to sales are sales reports that are recorded on a daily, monthly and annual basis using Microsoft ExceL. In the organizational structure owned by the company, the position directly related to the sales accounting information system is the head of office, office admin, leader / design, and driver / warehouse. Of the four positions that are directly related to sales, there are those who have multiple positions in supporting sales activities
