Every student has different perception toward the subject given by the teacher. Their perception could be positive or negative. It is caused by some factors either internal factor or external factors. Someone would have a positive perception if they have a positive interpretation in evaluating something, and they would have a negative perception if they have a negative interpretation too in evaluating something. Knowledge of student’s perception toward the subject should be seriously studied and considered by the teacher to understand and facilitate the student’s expectation. This study aimed at investigating student’s perception in learning mathematic subject given in English at SMUN 3 Madiun. It was directed to answer the question “what is the student’s perception toward the mathematic subject given in English”. This was a descriptive Quantitative and Qualitative study (QUANQual model). The subject of this study was first grade students of international class of SMUN 3 Madiun. The instruments used in this study were observation and Likert scale. Based on the result of this study, it was revealed that the first grade students of international class of SMUN 3 Madiun had positive perception toward the mathematic subject given in English.
