Abstract

This research is based on the needs analysis at Ngaglik 01 State Primary School in Batu City on November 2nd, 2018. In the arts and crafts subjects (SBdP) in class III, especially in dance, there is still a lack of understanding of dance movements. In addition, the teacher only uses learning media such as pictures and videos that are already on the internet. Students have some difficulties in their understanding because the teacher does not explain the dance movements, sometimes the teacher only tells students to pay attention and not to do the movement. It makes the learning process does not well conveyed. Therefore, it is necessary to develop motion that can be used as a learning media for arts and crafts subjects especially in dance which can facilitate students and teachers in presenting material. This study aims to find out: (1) developing the movement of “Kupu-kupu Belerang” dance video-based studio art in primary school, and (2) knowing the feasibility of developing movement of “Kupu-kupu Belerang” dance based on art of video studio in primary schools. This reserach uses the ADDIE research model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaliation). Techniques for analyzing qualitative data and quantitative data. Qualitatively includes data on interviews, observations, and questionnaires. Quantitative data includes the results of validation questionnaires and student responses. The data sources selected were, headmaster, class III teacher, and 29 of class III students at Ngaglik 01 Primary School in Batu City. The research was conducted in March 2019. The results of the research showed that 1) the assessment of learning media experts was 95% very good category, material experts 89% very good category, and learning experts 94% included the same category as well. These results are that the development of movement can be used in learning. 2) The feasibility of learning media is obtained from the results of student responses which is 90% very good category. From these results it can be stated also that the development of dance movements is worthy of being used.
