This study uses a descriptive qualitative type approach using the basis of reception analysis research or acceptance analysis. The subject in this study was Aremania Korwil Turen, Malang regency with different backgrounds according to the criteria determined by the researcher so that 5 research subjects were obtained. Researchers test the validity of the data by selecting source triangulation. The theory used is the encoding / decoding theory proposed by Stuart Hall. The results of the study found that the meaning and acceptance of audiences in media texts about the content of Arema's dualism news differed depending on their knowledge, experience, social status, psychological status, age and gender. In the dominant-hegemonic position, the subject receives news in the online media suryamalang.com and is neutral. in the position of The negotiated reading, the subject received news on suryamalang.com about Arema's dualism but there is another opinion that disuryamalang.com rarely publishes about Arema Indonesia news. While in the position of The oppositional reading, the subject stated that in reporting the issue of Arema's dualism on suryamalang.com favored Arema FC even though they knew that the Arema FC team had a higher rating to report on.  The conclusion of this study is that Aremania gives different meanings to the news content about Arema's dualism on suryamalang.com, specifically the difference between Arema FC supporters and Arema Indonesia. The difference between the meaning of supporters of Arema FC and Arema Indonedia is that supporters of Arema FC consider that the news on suryamalang.com is more neutral and accepts news that has been conveyed by the online media suryamalang.com. However, supporters of Arema Indonesia stated that in reporting about dualism on suryamalang.com, they favored Arema FC by assuming that the coverage of Arema FC was more than Arema Indonesia, although they realized that Arema FC had a rating more than Arema Indonesia in reporting on Arema Indonesia. online media.
