Study is an obligation of human being. According to Law number 20 year 2003 about Obligation to Study. Every citizen with 6 years old in age can follow the study obligation program in the school. Family and school education is fundamental planter of children personality. Family is the first person that giving color and determining to which direction children will be carried. Therefore, family is the main social background for the children. On this school age, family has not been able to give services to growth function on children thoroughly, especially intellectual developmental function. Therefore, children need a new, larger social environment in the form of school. To develop all their potency in school environment, where children start to study, work discipline, interaction habit with friends, and other strict and educative demands will give attractive and pleasure values of study on children. Children, who have been joined in formal education, does not meant that family or parents free from responsibility to their children, because children’ education success and achievement are not depended on the school only but on the family support. To know this matter, this thesis writing formulates about how the participation form of pupils’ guardian class I SD Muhammadiyah 08 Dau to increase students’ achievement. While the purpose of this thesis is to know how the participation form of pupils’ guardian class I SD Muhammadiyah 08 Dau to increase students’ achievement. To reach the expected target, hence the writer uses data collecting, interview, and documentation methods and also qualitative descriptive analysis method. Research result is described on the steps and the efforts of pupil’s guardian class I SD Muhammadiyah 08 Dau in taking participation in order to increase students’ participation in learning process.
