Abstract

The development of technology getting better nowadays. Many people use the electronic circuit in their daily life, that intend to make their work more easy, and improve the security system. One of the security system is pump machine that available at pump house in Jakarta, that intend to pump water from river run into water debit in order to not overflow thatwhich can cause flod. To operate the pump machine, as yet use the manual way that is with hire operator to stay sentry. Meanwhile, weather nowadays is hard to predict, and working hours for worker that be in charge to take care of each pump house only for eight hours for a day. Based on that problem needed system that can operate pump machine automatically when operator which is not stay sentry at working hours. As for this prototype design use capasitive sensor for detect the presence of fluids which can be ( water, chemical material, oil/gasoline, etc ) and Arduino UNO as Microcontroler for operate pump machine is capasitive sensor detect fluids. This prototype will make guard officer more easy to handle overflowing water which happened suddenly dan not at working hours.
