Abstract

Cattleya orchids are orchid plants that have beauty on the crown of leaves like other orchids. Cattleya orchid at the age of cattleyas seedlings during the daytime temperature of 15-20 degrees Celsius for at night 32-32 oC, Humidity 50-80% and light intensity 20-30%. To get the ideal conditions then placed in a greenhouse. For this purpose a device for monitoring, controlling temperature, humidity and irradiation was designed. The tools used to design this system are Mega Arduino, DHT22 sensor, LDR sensor, selenoid valve, relay, Ethernet shield, and water pump. DHT22 and LDR sensors are matched at 3 points in the greenhouse, namely on the roof, walls and plant zones. Monitoring is done through a web server created in tables and graphs. The results of this test indicate that the system can work properly. DHT22 sensor data to determine the condition of temperature and humidity in the greenhouse room as well as a reference to the course of the ignition automation system. The LDR sensor data as a monitoring of light variables and reference to the course of the automation of irradiation. A water pump that works according to the specified limit, when it exceeds the limit the relay will turn on and the water pump works. The Ethernet shield will pass data sent to the web server. In this exam the web server is a medium for monitoring temperature, humidity and light intensity in the greenhouse. When monitoring is running, data is sent via an Ethernet shield to the server on the website. Data processing occurs because automation in the greenhouse runs. Data processing occurs filtering data in the database, in the form of input data from table sensing data to treatment data. Inputs that occur when data from sensing are not in accordance with the needs of plants in the greenhouse.
