Abstract
In the year 2003 happened leakage and also burst place him relocation of waste of B3 UP VI Balongan so that cause the waste contaminate region around specially region district of Balongan. Effect of the happening of contamination, ad for air, land, and water (sea and river) resulting to the number of infected societies is disease, like : husk network, gastretes / maag, diarrhea, influenza, deficiency vitamin, ISPA, konjungtivitis, hypertension and bronchitis are disease befalling society around. Just not only that, society around UP VI which is majority is farmer (rice field and fishpond) and fisherman feel negative impact, that is lack of result and haul of working which usually abundance before existence of UP VI in area of Balongan. As for solution in the contamination dispute have agreed on to use process of mediasi. The process selected, because having easier individuality from at process through justice. This research take formula of problem of 1. How procedure efektifitas of mediasi in finishing the problem of contamination of environment of UPM VI Balongan 2. Any kind of result of mediasi and any kind of resistances in course of mediasi. This research use method approach of sosiologis yuridis, data collecting technique of in the form of interview with responder coming from society around and direct relevant side in contamination of the environment and direct observation to research location in UP VI and society around Balongan Indramayu as place intake of primary data. Then data result of the research analyzed descriptively qualitative. Conclusion of him, dispute contamination of environment that happened between UP VI with society around is carelessness which is conducted by UP VI so that hit society is negative impact of him. Suggestion, the importance of tight observation of local government of Indramayu, so that the contamination do not recurred to return.
