Abstract

Game world is an artificial world every game events happen. Mostly, game world is designed by game designer. However, when the game scale is bigger then the time and cost will increase. Meanwhile to finish the game does not require a lot of time and the lack of ability for the game to attract player to play the game again is a crucial problem. Procedural Content Generation (PCG) is used to solve this problem. In this research, genetic algorithm is used to solve problem on generating environment or game world in the game. The Data consist of three parameters, land, vegetation and weather. In order to give to give the game designer controllability over the generated game world, we are used transition graph and difficulty curve from game designer to used in game world generation process. Random Walk algorithm is used for the rendering process. Expressive range is used to understand the characteristic of the generated level and known that the generated game world is tend to easy and linear. Finally, Root Mean Squared error is performed and known that 82% of the generated game world is following difficulty curve from the game designer.
