Abstract

The high level of uric acid in the body can be caused by the presence of innate purine metabolism, the presence of a characteristic carrier disorder or gene, the excess of consuming high purine foods which cause uric acid in kidney stones. Homalomena occulta rhizomes empirically used as medicine to shed kidney stones. This study purposed to predict the secondary metabolite compounds of Homalomena occulta rhizome pharmacodynamically and pharmacokinetic profile as xanthine oxidase inhibbitor. This study used software of Autodock for pharmacodynamics test and web SwissADME to observe the profile of pharmacokinetics. According to the analysis result could be concluded that there were 85 compounds on Homalomena occulta that tested and obtained 13 compounds that predicted have activity as xanthine oxidase inhibitors and All of the compounds have potential pharmacokinetic profile based on Lipinski parameters and none of the active compounds have potent in pharmacokinetic profile based on Muegge parameters.
