Abstract

Kidney stone or nephrolithiasis are solid particles that are in the urinary tract. Homalomena occulta rhizome is traditional medicine that usually used empirically for kidney stone disease. No in silico studies have been conducted on this plant. This study has purpose to predict the secondary metabolite compounds of Homalomena occulta rhizome pharmacodynamically as alpha-1 adrenoceptor antagonist and predict pharmacokinetic profile. This study using Autodock 4.2 software to predict pharmacodynamic activity and using WebTool SwissADME with Boiled-Egg method and Druglikeness to predict pharmacokinetic profile. There are 6 secondary metabolite compounds from 85 secondary metabolite compounds of Homalomena occulta rhizome which have potential activity of pharmacodynamic as alpha-1 adrenoceptor antagonist and have ideal pharmacokinetic profile.
