Abstract

A long marketing channel in the marketing process for each marketing institution is to identify problems in the marketing analysis of tilapia. Marketing analysis is one of the determining factors in determining marketing efficiency. The purpose of this study was to find out the marketing channels in tilapia fish, to find out the marketing margin distribution, margin distribution, margin share in each marketing institution and the marketing efficiency of tilapia fish. Samples in this study were tilapia fish farmers in Jatiguwi Village, Sumberpucung District, Malang Regency. The type of data used is primary data. Data analysis methods use margin analysis, margin distribution, share margin and R / C profits and costs. The results of this study indicate that there are three marketing channels. Marketing channels include farmers - wholesalers - retailers, Farmers - Tengkulak - Wholesalers - End Consumers, Farmers - Middlemen - Retailers - End Consumers. The marketing channel 1 tilapia fish margin is Rp. 3,000; channel 2 of Rp 2,029; and channel 3 of Rp. 3,000. the biggest marketing margin value is on the first and third channels. The margin distribution value of tilapia fish on channel 1 includes: middlemen 24%, wholesalers 19%, retailers 19%. Marketing channel 2: middlemen 27%, and wholesalers 29%. Channel 3: middlemen 22% of retailers 44%. The percentage of farmer fish tilapia share is channel 1 by 90%; channel 2 by 93%; and marketing channel 3 by 90%.
