Abstract

The objectives of this experiment research is to find out the significant differences among two different condition of student report after applied cooperative learning model Talking Stick by assist visual media image of flower and before learning with conventional learning model at the second grade students of Bareng 4 Elementary School Malang. The research used quantitative approach with pre-experiment research design One Group Pretest-posttest Design. The researcher applied the design because it is only need to examine one class, so it does not necessary to find out another class as a comparison. The researcher hand in a pre-test or called as test previous treatment, then the research provide a post-test or called as test after treatment. Samples were taken by a whole-population, the population were non probability technique sampling. The researcher tried to minimalize any trouble that might happens since the amount of class was solitary, so there were no other class. The data collecting technique were taken by saturation sampling which obtained from the real value because the researcher’s objectives was the whole population. The research results showed that the normality test on pre-test data in Kolmogorov-smirnov column has 0.874 significance level and normality test on post-test data has 0,0449. It means that the significance level > 0.05. Thus, could be concluded that score data both of pre-test and post-test second grade students on Kawruh Basa Arane Kembang has a normal distribution. The hypothesis test results with t-paired sample t-test has 0.000 with the significance level 5%, the value of sig (2-tailed) < 0.05, that means H0 is rejected, therefore H1 is accepted. So, it can be concluded that there are a significant influences during learning process using Talking Stick which assist by visual media of flower toward student reports of second grade over learning material namely Kawruh Basa Arane Kembang in Bareng 4 Elementary School Malang.
