Abstract

The problem in this study was the lack of profesionalism of teachers and the low motivation of religious learning student of the Aliyah Madrasah Muhammadiyah Al- Munawwaroh Islamic Boarding School Malang. This study uses the method of obserfaion, questionaries and documentation aims to explore data about teacher profesionalsim and student motivation in Aliyah Madrasah Muhammadiyah Al-Munawwaroh Islamic Boarding School Malang. The type of research used is correlational research. The population in this study were all student of the Aliyah Madrasah Muhammadiyah Al-Munawwaroh Islamic Boarding School Malang, which numbered 31 student. The sampel techniques in this study used nonprobability techniques. Data analysis used is product moment correlation. The study aims to determine the extent to which a significant relationship between profesionalism of teachers and relegious learning motivation of student Aliyah Madrasah Muhammadiyah Al-Munawwaroh Islamic Boarding School Malang. The result of the study obtained that the coeffecient of correlation of teacher profesionalism with religious learning motivation student of the Aliyah Madrasah Muhammadiyah Al- Munawwaroh Islamic Boarding School Malang. This study concluded that the correlation coeffecient 0,504 r table 0,355 was obtained because r table is smaller than r count, then Ho is rejected, thus Ha accepted. Meaning that there is a significant relationship between the propfessionalism of teachers and students regligious learning motivation. Based on the result of correlation coeffecients can be understood that the correlation positive, can be interpreted the igher the professionalism of teacher, the higher the motivation to learn region students, and vice versa the lower the professionalism of the teacher the more lace the students religious learning motivation. Looking at the guidelines for coeffecient of correlation, the correlation is 0.504 so there is a moderate corelation
