Abstract

The border area is an area which is in the front of the country in a state of affairs. However, if the border area is reviewed in terms of development, then on the contrary we will find that the Border area is a backward area in development, especially in the health sector. Border communities and health seeking are interesting. The research entitled "Seeking Health for Border Societies in Searching for Health", has a problem statement about how Healath Seeking Border Communities in seeking Health, and what influences people's choices in seeking health. The purpose of this research is to find out how the Border Society in seeking Health and to know what factors influence the choice of the Community in seeking health. This research uses descriptive qualitative method or research that tries to uncover the facts and phenomenon in the field. And the source of the data used are Primary and Secondary Data from direct research through the Interview process as well as data outside of the findings in the field, as well as Documentation in the form of Pictures taken during the research process regarding the conditions and activities of the community in Aji Kuning Village. Data will be analyzed by Data Reduction and Data Display Methods to narrate events and events in Lapagan. Based on the analysis of the data that has been carried out, a conclusion is obtained that the Aji Kuning Village Community has a health institution in the form of a main Puskesmas with adequate facilities for the standard of a Puskesmas as the Community's first place of reference in seeking health. Community constraints in seeking health are still influenced by other healing alternatives such as Sanro / dukun and herbs from plants that can be found in the neighborhood around the settlement. And other factors that influence the search for public health in the village of Aji Kuning are the low level of education and the reach of the community towards access to remote hospital services.
