Abstract

The world of education is currently experiencing rapid progress due to the flow of modernization. This in addition to having an impact on the speed of science also caused a variety of new problems that in the individual within the community that lead to moral damage. Vulnerability to occur in the personality of the students at this time is very disturbing to parents and the school. The implementation of religious activities in schools is an effective means of shaping a person's personality. Efforts to implement religious activities in schools aim to shape the personality of Islamic students and instill religious values. The purpose of implementing religious activities in Muhammadiyah 8 Batu Junior High School is as an answer to parents and school unrest about the deteriorating personality of students. At Muhammadiyah 8 Batu Junior High School itself applies habituation as a way of planting the personality of students. The results showed that: 1) The implementation of religious activities in Muhammadiyah 8 Batu Junior High School was based on several things: (a) Curriculum guidelines developed by schools that required religious activities in schools (b) Personality of students of Muhammadiyah 8 Batu Junior High School. 2) The efforts of educators in shaping the personality of learners through the religious activities of students in Muhammadiyah 8 Batu Junior High School include: a) Morning Reciting Activities, b) Dhuhr and Asr Pray in congregation, c) Worship practice activities d) Commemoration of religious holidays e) Practice Exams worship f) Study of the community This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using Milles and Huberman models, namely: data reduction, data presentation, verification.
