The majority of adolescents from single parent families have additional problems compared toadolescents from families with fathers and mothers, they feel abandoned, disappointed and sad that in (Balson, 1993). On the other hand adolescents from single parent families is part of the younger generation that has the functions, roles and responsibilities within the same development with adolescents from intact families, they also have the task the task of development which must be passed. Therefore, it takes the ability to deal with, overcome, learn or even transformed by adversity (resilience). Through the support group therapy, therapy performed using a peer group who have relatively similar problems by sharing information about problems experienced and solutions that need to be done once the process of mutual learning and strengthen. This study is a nonexperimental singlecase design or commonly referred to as case study (case study). This design is felt appropriate for this study because case studies are often used as a basis for the development of therapeutic techniques. The independent variables in the form of support group therapy and dependent variable is the development of resilience. The data collection used were interviews and selfreport, conducted three stages: pretest and posttest interviews, while the followup using self report. Analysis carried out by qualitative description, while checking the validity of data using triangulation techniques. The research subjects were five teenagers from single parent families. The results showed through support group therapy adolescents from single parent families to develop the resilience of the three factors that I am, I have and I can that lies within each subject, the subject was assisted to know the advantages and disadvantages of self that makes the subject more confidence. There is support from peers, to share, learn and reinforce each other, so that the subject feels to have family and friends who support. In addition, the subject is assisted to recognize the abilities, ideals ideals, and the future that makes the subject more optimistic. To be a resilient not enough just to have one factor alone, but must be supported by a factor other factors that must interact with each other is I am, I Have, and I Can.
