Abstract

Indonesia as an archipelago country is separated by rivers and mountains should connect the islands through a bridge. The structure used is truss bridge due to its excellence of stability. The development of era, steel material has been replaced by cold-formed steel. It has been made by means of braking press process which aims at appending the power of Connector Bridge using bolt. This study would like to examine the power of structure and connector of cold-formed steel for pedestrian bridge. The bridge is planned with the height 4.3 meters, width 0.9 meters, and deck type attached on the truss. The maximum deflection of cold-formed steel bridge is 1.856 mm with the total weight 74.141 kg. Mainly, the data are analyzed by means of StaadPro V8i. In the end of session, the allowable deflection of cold-formed steel bridge is 3.80 mm with the total weight 72.581 kg. Based on the data analysis, the connectors used are 155 items while the competition is held two times of data results.
