Abstract

The raw material is one of the elements that need to get special attention because without proper control production could not run well. Inventory control raw materials at UD. Blessing Independent of Kediri are facing problems of IE does not have the quantity of the raw material buying bakan with a fixed amount, does not have a structured scheduling in booking again and not have the supplies for safety the production. The goal of the research is to 1) Knowing purchase of raw tapioca flour optimum and economically using method EOQ, 2) know the inventory safety stock of raw materials, and 3) Knowing the right time to make a booking back raw materials. The method used is calculation of the economic order quantity, safety stock, re-order point, and the total annual inventory cost. The results showed that using a more efficient method of EOQ is to amount to purchase raw materials for tapioca flour each time the purchase year 2017 as much 18.762 Kg and in 2018 as much 22.823 Kg. The magnitude of the safety stock is needed in the year 2017 as much 20.717 Kg and in 2018 as much 22.872 Kg. Re-orders point with the proper time of the year 2017 if raw tapioca flour remaining 21.449 Kg and 57.858 Kg of remaining 2018 year
