Abstract
Abstact - Paving block is a component of building material made from a mixture of hydraulic cement or the like, aggregate and water with or without any other additional material that does not reduce the quality of the paving blocks. Paving is used for pavement layer eassier in the procces and have artistic value of the flexisble pavement layers, and concrete presstress. This research was conducted was determine how much the impact resistance of paving blocks made from mud lapindo to the granting of pressing treatment in the drafting procces.Paving blocks used in this study have dimensions of length 21 cm, widht 10.5 cm, and 6 cm thick. Manufactured of paving blocks made in the CV. Raja Karya in the village of Sidoarjo district Tanggulangin. In the process making a mixture that in used which in the ratio of cement : sand : mud is 1 : 4 : 20%. Tests conducted impact resistance test per-single unit impact resistance by varying the tickness of interlocking paving sand in wet and dry conditions. In the treatment of the specimens was done by watering 3 times a day treatment for impact resistance. This research was conducted in Civil Engineering Concrete Laboratorium UMM. From the results of this study, maximum impact resistance value of paving blocks on a mixture of mud 20% and maximum impact resistance value due to the installation of the pattern (interlocking) fish bone 450 with 5 cm thick sand runway paving in wet conditions.
