Abstract

UD. Samsul is a home industry engaged in wood manufacturing and in the production process is still done manually. Many of the workers who work, their posture can cause injury risk and lack of ergonomics or you might say it doesn't work according to your attitude. This is because the supporting facilities for carrying out the production process are not in accordance with the conditions of their activities. Therefore a method is needed to identify the problem and provide a solution. The Rappa Upper Limb Assessment method is a method that is used to give a body posture value of the level of musculoskeletal risk experienced by a person at work. Before being able to give value from the data, the Nordic Body Map questionnaire was distributed so that it was known which body postures often had musculoskeletal. The purpose of this study is to improve the body posture of workers based on the risk of injury experienced and provide a solution. Based on the results of pengumuplan and processing data using the RULA method it is known that there are 2 moderate risk level work postures and 1 high posture risk level work posture. So in this case immediate action is needed.
