Abstract

Si-DIA application is an android-based application that functions as a provider of data, information, and complaint rooms to the public. The more rapid population in the city of Malang resulted in the increasing problems that occurred in the city of Malang. The Si-DIA application here has great benefits, namely solving problems around the community that were previously untouched by the government. Besides that, in the application of si-DIA the government will provide the latest data and information from various agencies in the city of Malang. The research method uses descriptive qualitative, giving an overview of the development of the DIA application in realizing Malang City as a smart city. Primary data innovation research application program DIA in the form of observation and interviews. While the technique of data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. Si-DIA application program research theory uses an innovation typology that describes all aspects of government innovation and then the data is analyzed into a pattern and can be concluded. Si-DIA application program is an innovation of the Malang City government in realizing one of the smart city concepts, namely smart government. However, the implementation of the DI-DIA application program is considered to be less than optimal. The problem with the Si-DIA application program has been the lack of human resources who are aware of technological developments and the limited budget available. More in-depth socialization must be improved with the community with various new methods such as visits to RT / RW so that this application can run optimally.
