Abstract

Lifestyle describes consumers' choices how they use their time and money, expressed through activities, interests and opinions. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Activity, Interests and Student Opinions of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang simultaneously and partially on the consumption of Indomie. The choice of location in this study uses a purposive method. This type of quantitative research with a descriptive approach, and sampling using the purposive sampling method. The total sample is 100 students, with the criteria of active UMM students from the 2015-2018 bachelor program, and have consumed Indomie. The method of data collection uses a questionnaire. The analysis of the data used in this study is the F test and the t test uses a measure of the Likert Scale. The results of the study prove that simultaneously the Lifestyle variable consisting of (Activity, Interest and Opinion), has a significant influence on Indomie consumption, with the acquisition of Fcount (34,420)> Ftable (2.70) and the Adjusted R Square value of 0.503. The results of the t test, the three variables (Activity, Interest and Opinion) have a partial effect, where the regression coefficient values of each variable are 0.371, 0.224, and 0.097.
