Abstract

Confidence is an attitude that is owned by each individual. Students, have a sense of pride in themselves, have the ability with effort and hard work, and high optimism in achieving goals. SDN Kauman 2 Malang, applies DACIL extracurricular activities to shape the character of students' confidence. Because dacil extra curricular is a religious program whose implementation requires self-confidence. Therefore research is conducted on the application of extracurricular DACIL in shaping confidence. The research objectives are 1) Describe DURIL extracurricular activities in shaping the character of students' self-confidence. 2) Describe the factors that influence the character of students through extracurricular DACIL. 3) knowing the success of the extracurricular application in the formation of character confidence. The study uses the method of observation, interviews, and documentation to determine the influence and relationship in the implementation of extra-curricular activities DACIL towards the confidence of students. The results showed that in the implementation of extracurricular activities DACIL in the formation of character confidence in students, 1) Performed in two stages, which consisted of stages of deepening the material and stages of formation of confidence. 2) Implementation of DACIL has a limiting factor, namely the lack of support from parents, the interest of students in taking DACIL extracurricular seriously, and the limited facilities and infrastructure that can support the implementation of extra-curricular activities DACIL. Supporting factors are, the ability of the teacher builder, internal self of students, and support from the school in organizing and participating in competitions. 3) Success in the implementation of DACIL extracurricular activities at SDN Kauman 2 Malang is said to be successful because it can shape and make students become more confident as seen from the attitude of students who speak firmly who do not hesitate, believe in themselves, show courage when following lessons in class or otherextracurricularactivities
